Support
Something not working, or a question the app doesn’t answer? Email support@splitwithmosey.com and a human will reply. We aim to respond within two working days.
Reporting a bug? It helps enormously if you include your device model, your iOS version, and what you were doing just before it went wrong. If a number looks incorrect, tell us what you expected and what you saw — we can usually reproduce it from that.
Common questions
Do I need an account to use Mosey?
No. You can create groups, add expenses, split them every way Mosey supports, and settle up entirely on your device without ever signing in. An account is only needed for syncing across your own devices, sharing a group with other people, and in-app purchases.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Account → Delete account. This permanently removes your account and everything stored in the cloud, including any groups you own — which also removes them for other people in those groups. It cannot be undone, and it does not refund purchases.
If you only want to clear this device and keep your account, use Reset all data instead.
I paid, but Mosey Pro isn’t showing up.
Purchases are tied to your Mosey account, not just your device. Make sure you’re signed in on the device where you expect to see them, then use Account → Restore purchases. If it still doesn’t appear, email us with the Apple ID email you purchased with and we’ll trace it.
Does Mosey charge a subscription?
No, and it never will. Mosey has two one-time purchases and no recurring fees. The free tier stays free.
How do I get a refund?
Purchases are handled entirely by Apple, so refunds go through them rather than us — request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something in Mosey caused the problem, email us too so we can fix it.
Something looks wrong with my balances.
Mosey shows its working — open a group’s Balances tab and tap a balance to see how it was calculated. If the explanation doesn’t match what you expect, that’s a bug worth telling us about, and the breakdown makes it much faster for us to find.
